
One of Carpe Diem’s many strengths is its cycle of leadership; youth across the Capital Region have the opportunity to apply for various professional opportunities on staff at CDT. They learn foundational skills in theatrical production, arts administration, and youth education through first-hand experience.
CAMP STAFF: Candidates accepted to Camp Staff have three years of theater leadership training & experience before going to college.
Year 1: Counselors-in-Training receive community service hours for volunteer support of Camp
Year 2: Junior Counselors are assigned a specialty area, receive training throughout the year, and are paid hourly for their summer work at Camp.
Year 3: Senior Counselors conceptualize and execute 2 productions for Camp, receiving a premium hourly rate for their summer work.
Applicants for this opportunity must have completed at least one year in the Camp program.
